I Love Books!

Books are a lovely addition to life! I love books that invite me to travel to other lands, times, and adventures. Or inspire me to grow closer to my Beloved Savior, Jesus. I love to curl up with a good book or read aloud with my children. Even my oldest daughter, who is a college professor, loves to reading aloud.

God has revealed Himself through His Precious Son, Jesus and through His Word, the Holy Bible. The Bible is completely trustworthy, inspired by God, and infallible. If you have never read the Bible, I heartily recommend that you read it every day, a chapter or two. I pray first and ask God to teach me and help me to grow closer to Him. Then I read. He always gives me something to hold on to and I am always learning new things, even though I have been reading the Bible every day since I was 16 years old.

I love reading other books too! Nothing replaces reading good books, great works, living books, classic literature. Literature and great works have shaped who I am, my dreams, and my ambitions. If you have never taken the plunge into reading great books and classic literature, I invite you to take the plunge and feed your soul!

My daughter is a freshman this year and has always had a dream to write her own novel, but had no prior experience with putting together a complete book. She loves murder mysteries and when I saw this course I knew she would love it. She has already grown so much in her writing, character development and understanding of the components needed to develop a novel, and it’s only the first semester. Meredith’s course is a dream come true for her, and I can not recommend it enough. It is a solid course with a strong balance between education and enjoyment, and Meredith has done a terrific job of engaging the students and motivating them to put the effort into the course. I am very impressed!

Thank you so very much for a beautiful year of class, Jace has been anxious about saying goodbye this week. As a mom, I so appreciate you praying over the children, your way of discussing topics of brutality in a gentle way, and seeing more truth in history.
